Joshua Cordeal is a Chattanooga-based fine artist and tattooist known for his emotionally resonant black and gray realism. Self-taught and deeply intuitive, his practice spans skin and paper, exploring stillness, memory, and the tension between control and surrender. His visual work is often informed by the aesthetics of Shibari—an art form he studies as a meditation on form, vulnerability, and connection. Whether through graphite or ink, each piece reflects a quiet devotion to detail, intention, and the unspoken language of the body.
